Hi there! I'm Deepthi!
I'm a Computer Science graduate student from the University of California, Riverside. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from PES University, Bangalore.
My interests focus on developing efficient, sustainable and socially conscious products. I work on distributed data pipelines and building software frameworks and methods that push efficiency further.
- The past two years, I worked at Schneider Electric in Research and Development. I was a part of the Secure Power team where I partook in research for cloud architecture models and the environmental impact of resource group deployments within the context of green software.
I worked on large scale deployments integrating AI capabilities and ML models to enhance system intelligence. - In my previous summers, I've spent my time alternating between software development at startups and researching under my university labs.
I believe in taking end to end ownership of my software projects; I enjoy working at the intersection of product, design, and software development.

Timeline of events
- September 2025: Starting my Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside!
- August 2024: Joined Schneider Electric as a full time employee under Research and Development.
- May 2024: Graduated with my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from PES University, Bangalore.
- January 2024: Started my sixth month internship software development at Schneider Electric R&D, Bangalore.
- January 2024: Worked as a Teaching Assistant under Prof. Priya Badrinath for the 6th-semester course Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with Java for 200+ students.
- December 2023: Presented my Capstone project paper at the CoCoNET 2023 conference in PES University, Bangalore.
- September 2023: Presented my first paper at the ADCIS 2023 conference in BITS Goa, India!
- June 2023: Started my summer software development internship with Lensta Technologies.
- May 2023: Published my first book chapter on Neural Networks for Human–Machine Interface with Taylor & Francis Group.
- August 2022: Became editor and head writer of the PES Newsletter, overseeing a team of 20+ interdisciplinary members for 3500+ student audience.
- July 2022: Started my six month internship with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, PES University to gamify and personalize learning coursework. Read more about the project here.
- June 2022: Got my first opportunity to engage in research by interning under the Center for Data Science and Applied Machine Learning, PES University.
- June 2020: Taught my first class of 15 students after becoming a certified yoga instructor!
